Upcoming BBC retail series ~ great opportunity for food
producers
Maverick TV are making a new retail series for
BBC2, hosted by Theo Paphitis (of Dragon's Den). With
access to the buying teams of four major retail stores, these buying
teams are opening up to the British public and are committed to
stocking the best of what they see. One of the stores is a high end
food store. This is a great opportunity for new food producers
to meet the buyers of a major food store. Applications can be found
at
www.mavericktv.co.uk. Open days when producers can meet
the buyers will be held in February. Please let us know
if you apply – email us at
foodieuk*hotmail.co.uk. Good luck!
Food Solutions aims to keep you up-to-date
with the food hygiene regulations
with quarterly bulletins and an annual handbook.
The Food Club has negotiated a special discounted subscription rate of
£37.50 to Food Solutions (standard rate £50) or
the handbook only for £10 (standard rate £20).
