Our brand new, purpose built facility in Bury St Edmunds, houses the most up to date technology and demonstrates our commitment to optimum quality, evidenced by our certification under a number of quality schemes.

As Technical Administrator, you’ll provide critical support to the Technical Manager on key Quality Assurance information management systems. The role will have responsibility for the management and maintenance of the due diligence databases, e.g. laboratory results, raw material and finished product customer specifications, nutrition data and allergens, supplier quality assurance documentation, pack legal and labelling requirements, as well as supporting routine product sensory testing and other aspects of the Quality Management System.

Educated to HND or equivalent level in Food Science and ideally with a related background in the food manufacturing or food retail sectors, you should be a flexible team player, who enjoys multi-tasking and can demonstrate good organisational skills, plus a keen eye for detail. Any relevant experience in a similar type role or environment would prove advantageous.

If you are looking for cold store storage facilities in NW London then one of our members - La Maison des Sorbets - now have an area for between 100-150 pallets called The Icehouse.

Storage charge per pallet space per week or part of a week £ 5.50. Receiving, Handling & Despatch (RH&D) £ 10.50 per pallet. All incoming pallets will be temperature probed and any pallets warmer than minus 16 degrees Celsius will be invoiced at £ 10.50 per pallet freezing charge. Any incoming pallets that are not safely stacked or not stacked on pallets to the agreed specification will be invoiced at £15.50 per pallet stacking charge.

The cold store will operate at temperatures colder than minus 25 degrees Celsius.

Additional services could include repacking in EU licensed/BRC accredited premises, relabelling and order picking as well as frozen daily deliveries and collections inside M25 or weekly in the home counties.
